5-Minute Quote Rotation

The app automatically shows a new Bahá'í quote every 5 minutes. This rotation is synchronized between the app and home screen widgets, so you'll see the same quote everywhere.

Next & Back Buttons

Use Next/Back to browse quotes manually. When you do this, the app overrides the automatic rotation for 5 minutes, keeping your selected quote visible in both the app and widgets.

Home Screen Widgets

Add the Power of the Word widget to your home screen (iOS and Android). Widgets stay in sync with the app and support deep linking - tap a widget to open the app to that exact quote.

Favorites & Search

Heart quotes to save them as favorites, then view them in the Favorites tab. Use the Search tab to find specific quotes with fuzzy search across all Bahá'í writings.

Themes & Settings

The app follows your device's dark/light mode by default. You can override this in Settings to always use your preferred theme. Font size respects your device's accessibility settings.

Sharing Quotes

Share inspiring quotes using your device's share sheet. Available from both the Home screen and quote detail views to spread wisdom with friends and family.

Widget Troubleshooting

If widgets aren't updating or showing different quotes than the app, try removing and re-adding the widget, or force-close and reopen the app to refresh the sync.

Deep Link Issues

If tapping a widget doesn't open the correct quote in the app, ensure the app is updated to the latest version and try restarting your device to refresh the deep link handlers.
